Here in Nova Scotia, Open Farm Day is coordinated by the team at the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture's Meet Your Farmer program. Meet your Farmer is an initiative developed by the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture to help build connections, awareness, and understanding of the agricultural industry. We profiles some of Nova Scotia's farm families, share their favourite homecooked recipes, and update everyone on food and farming events taking place throughout the year. We also develop educational activities, host tours, and share information on our social media pages.
