Norris Arm Farmer's Market
The Norris Arm Farmers Market will be joining NL Open Farm Day to bring locally available hand crafted, harvested or grown items. We highlight local farmers including Exploits Meadow Farm, Marks Market, Kettle Hill Farm and more. We will have fresh vegetables, berries, breads, hand crafted products and more. Our market focuses on helping boost the local food network while also providing affordably priced goods to the community. Funds raised by the market go back to support non profits within our community the Boys and Girls Club of Norris Arm and Norris Arm Heritage and Arts Centre. Year to date we’ve help raise over $1400 for local community groups and this market expected to be our biggest yet.There is a $2 entry fee or non perishable food item which will go back to the local community food sharing program. Vendor tables available at $10 to support the operation of the Norris Arm Heritage and Arts Centre.
Our market aims to boost the understanding of what can be grown and raised within a back yard farm and raise the profiles of local farmers with the general public.
