Long Reach Roots

Long Reach Roots is located on the Wolastoq/Saint John River on the Kingston Peninsula. This is a fifth generation family farm owned and operated by Samara Carvell and Curtis Stever. We are in the beginning stages of developing our permaculture food forest.

We keep chickens for eggs, goats for milk, and have recently added a horse to the farm for future Equine Assisted Learning. We grow mixed vegetables, herbs, cut flowers and offer perennial plants for sale from our greenhouse.

The property tour will include a walk around the gardens with explanations of what we are growing and why. You will get to see all the animals in their pastures however we do not offer a petting zoo type experience.
