Bar M Ranch
Known officially as Meister Field and Forest, Bar M Ranch is a diverse farm with Angus cattle, Christmas trees, wreath-making, dahlias, vegetables, garlic, hay production, and a welcoming farm stand.
Farmers David and Christina moved home to take over David's family farm, and have worked hard to maintain that tradition while diversivying and modernizing. They also offer a charming farm stay and host special events, including weddings.
On Open Farm Day, visitors can explore the farm between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Enjoy a guided tour of the farm and its equipment to learn the ins and outs of raising Angus beef cattle and hens, and about the highs and lows of vegetable and flower farming.
After your tour, take a leisurely walk along a scenic trail to see different areas of the property and, soak in the atmosphere. The ranch’s event space will be open for you to relax, enjoy a picnic lunch you’ve brought from home, or grab a hot meal at the farm from TJ's Burgers and Fries food truck.
