Simply Ducky Farm
Simply Ducky Farm is a similar scale to a small family farm from previous generations offering educational opportunities for folks interested in farming. We also host Farm Tours for families, special needs groups, and senior care facilities, allowing people to experience a slice of small farm life and meet the many beasties on the farm.Visitors to Simply Ducky Farm will be able to meet:
- Some very friendly (and snuggly) Nigerian Dwarf Goats
- North Country Cheviots Sheep
- The Boys, two former-feral-turned-barn cats that love attention
- Icelandic and Shetland fibre sheep
- Landrace Yorkshire pigs
- Miniature Horses and Miniature Donkeys
- Rabbits, of the petting-friendly, super-fluffy variety
Experienced folks will be on hand to discuss the ins and outs of raising your own pork, beef, or chicken – as well as how to get started with goats, miniature horses, or donkeys. Be sure to ask lots of questions!
